John Alstrom is Senior Vice President of NAI Capital's Senior Living Advisory Services and is based in the Orange County, California. John's goal is to assist clients in the acquisition, development and disposition of senior living properties. He brings over 40 years of real estate experience in the acquisition, development, management and marketing of commercial and senior projects. He has been respondsible for more than 7.5 million square feet of commercial projects and 3,000 residential units throughout California. Over the course of his career he has held executive positions with the Allen Group of San Diego and Visalia, California: Hillman Properties West, Inc. and The Irvine Company both of Newport Beach, California: and John D. Lusk & Son, Irvine, California and recently spent eleven years with FountainGlen Properties, formerly Pacific Gulf Properties of Irvine, California, acquiring, entitling and developing active adult apartment communities in California.

Transaction History
FountainGlen Properties - Acquired, entitled and developed 11 ground up active adult apartment communities in California totaling over 2,500 units for one of the country's largest market rate senior apartment community developer, owner and operator. The Allen Group - directed the acquisition, design , entitlement , construction management and lease negotiation of 500,000 sq.ft. of industrial space. Diversified Development Group - Managed the development and leasing of 420,000 sq, ft, of warehouse/ distribution facilities for Fresno, California's largest industrial developer. Hillman Properties West - As regional partner directed the development of 15 office, R&D, industrial and land developments. John D. Lusk and Son - Managed the development of 9 master planned business parks totaling over 1,500 acres and 2 million square feet of commercial space.
