Background & Experience
Michelle has over 30 years of property management experience in industrial, retail, office, and multi-family portfolios. Prior to joining NAI Fortis Group, she served as General Manager for JLL, managing a large industrial property portfolio in the Louisville area.
Prior to relocating back to the Louisville area, Michelle enjoyed a successful property management career in Las Vegas, Nevada. At Vestar Properties, a privately owned retail property management company based in Phoenix, Michelle managed 1 mm+ square feet of mixed-use retail and office properties. In that role, Michelle was responsible for client and customer service, budgeting, financial reporting, facilities oversight, lease administration, capital/tenant improvements, and tenant retention.
Today, Michelle oversees property management services for NAI Fortis Group’s 6.7mm SF managed industrial portfolio in the greater Louisville, Kentucky market. She is responsible for establishing and maintaining high-quality working relationships with the tenants and vendors while working closely with client asset managers. Michelle develops and implements business plans for each assigned property that are consistent with owner’s needs and objectives. She is experienced in financial reporting, budgeting, and CAM reconciliations and the various industry-leading software platforms such as Yardi, MRI, RealPage, and Avid. She is very committed to excellent tenant and vendor relations and outstanding attention to detail in property operational and capital project management.
